In Japanese mythology, the Shishi (獅子) or lion-dog is no ordinary beast, it’s a divine guardian, often found guarding shrines, chasing away evil, and awakening spiritual strength. This kimono shirt captures the Kishin no Mezame, the awakening of the lion spirit. Split in red and black, it represents balance between wrath and restraint, chaos and control.
